GreenerBeauty.com and all its logos and trademarks are owned by Greener Beauty Ltd and are protected under UK copyright and trademark laws. All material on this site is protected and cannot be used unless explicitly granted permissions by Greener Beauty Ltd.
The following terms and conditions apply when you are using the website GreenerBeauty.com either for searching for a local salon or the online shop either on GreenerBeauty.com or any variations of the website also owned by Greener Beauty Ltd. By using our website, you accept these terms and conditions in full. Accordingly, if you disagree with ANY of the terms or conditions outlined in this article you must not use our website.
These terms and conditions are governed by and constructed in accordance with English Law.
User – Terms and Conditions
We do our best to ensure that the salons listed remain vegan friendly. We email all the salons every 6 months asking them to confirm that they still use vegan friendly products, we carry out monthly random spot checks and it is also listed in the salons terms and conditions that if they are no longer vegan friendly that they contact us and their listing will be removed. However we do suggest that if phoning up a salon do ask to verify that they still use vegan friendly products. We cannot be held liable if a salon changes their products and do not inform us.
When you create a login for Greener Beauty whether this is using an email address or a Facebook profile the data collected as a result of this will only ever be used for purchases completed on the shop for order and delivery information. We will never email you or contact you without you having given us direct consent to do so by completing the newsletter sign up form.
You are responsible for ensuring that your password is complex enough and is changed at regular intervals. It is also recommended if creating an account using an email address that the password is unique to your Greener Beauty account. If you are aware that your password has become compromised please contact us ASAP on CustomerCare@GreenerBeauty.com. Greener Beauty Ltd will do all it can to help ensure that no payments are made fraudulently however we can not be held liable for any losses as a result of your password becoming compromised. Your password is your responsibility to ensure that it remains confidential.
You agree that you will not:
use the Site for promotional or commercial purposes, except as expressly permitted by Greener Beauty;
modify, adapt, appropriate, reproduce, distribute, translate, create derivative works or adaptations of, publicly display, sell, trade, or in any way exploit the Site or Site Content (other than your own added content), except as expressly authorised by Greener Beauty;
reverse engineer any portion of the Site.
remove or modify any copyright, trademark or other proprietary rights notice on the Site or on any materials printed or copied off of the Site;
use any robot, spider, site search/retrieval application, or other automated device, process or means to access, retrieve, scrape, or index the Site or any Site Content;
access, retrieve or index the Site to construct or populate a searchable database of business, business reviews or any other component of the site;
reformat or frame any portion of the Site without consent by Greener Beauty;
take any action that (i) imposes or may impose, in Greener Beauty’s sole discretion, an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure or server, including but not limited to, throttle violations; (ii) interferes or attempts to interfere with the proper working of the Site or any activities conducted on the Site; or (iii) bypasses any measures we may use to prevent or restrict access to the Site;
Solely as examples, and not in any way limited to the following examples, you agree not to use the Site or services available on the Site:
- To abuse, harass, threaten, stalk, impersonate, intimidate or bully any other users of GreenerBeauty.com
- To post or transmit any content that is infringing, libellous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, abusive, offensive, profane, or otherwise violates any law or right of any third party, or content that is degrading, intimidating, or hateful toward an individual or group of individuals on the basis of religion, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, age or disability
- For any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- If you are an international user, you agree to comply with all local laws regarding online conduct and acceptable content
- To post or transmit any communication or solicitation designed or intended to obtain password, account, or private information from any GreenerBeauty.com user
- To create or submit unwanted email or communications to any other users of GreenerBeauty.com
- To use or access the site in any manner that violates any laws local to you
- To submit links to or comments soliciting on behalf of multi-level marketing (MLM) schemes (otherwise known as pyramid schemes or direct selling) and the individual online shops.
- Therapists who use products from MLM companies such as Tropic or Arbonne, can list themselves as a salon listing if they fit the criteria. However, they cannot include their online shop in the listing or in any communication to Greener Beauty users. Neither can they include any Facebook groups or shop pages. Or any social media used for direct selling.
- To attempt to impersonate another user or person
- To sell or otherwise transfer your profile.
We retain the right to suspend or disable your account at any time in our sole discretion without notice or explanation.
Shop – Terms and Conditions
The Greener Beauty shop is an online retailer selling vegan friendly beauty products that are also free of any nasty chemicals. We offer two different sources of products:
- Products that you (the consumer) are buying directly from us at Greener Beauty that we have carefully selected from a range of suppliers.
- Products that you are purchasing online at GreenerBeauty.com but the order is completed and are supplied by carefully chosen 3rd party brands. If you are buying a product from a 3rd party brand you will notice the following logo on the product page. (MATT – I will send logo shortly)
The order process
By placing an order at GreenerBeauty.com you are agreeing to purchase the products selected at the listed price. All orders are subject to availability and acceptance by us. We reserve the right to decline any orders placed.
All communication will be sent to the email address used when completing the purchase.
Payment will be made for the full order via PayPal and no payment information such as card details will be received by Greener Beauty. The payment process and these details will be protected by the PayPal terms and conditions.
Once an order has been placed you will receive an order confirmation email detailing the products ordered.
Once the order has been accepted and dispatched another email will be sent informing you of dispatch.
Buying directly from Greener Beauty
Orders placed for products that are supplied by Greener Beauty will all be dispatched in the same delivery via the method chosen at check out. However, if you would rather collect your order from our Hove Warehouse please contact us at sales@GreenerBeauty.com and this can be arranged. Buying from 3rd Party Brands
Orders placed for 3rd party products will be sent independently by our 3rd party suppliers. They have signed strict contracts to ensure that all your personal information is safe and will not be retained by them for any purposes other than sending out your order. 3rd party suppliers also have their own delivery schedules, these are detailed in the delivery information page which can be found here.
If placing an order for products sold directly by Greener Beauty AND 3rd party brands, please be aware that the orders will be sent out separately. If you order from multiple 3rd party brands, these deliveries will also be sent out in multiple deliveries. Emails will be sent to you informing you as each product or groups of products are dispatched.
We will retain a record of all orders accepted by us. You can find the history and status of your orders by logging onto GreenerBeauty.com with the account used to complete the purchase and under account go to orders.
You may not resell any products purchased from Greener Beauty.
The price of a product shall be as stated on GreenerBeauty.com at the time you place your order except in the case of obvious error. We try and ensure that all prices on our Website are accurate, but errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of a product you have ordered, we will not be liable to supply that item to you at the stated price, provided that we notify you before we despatch the item to you. In those circumstances, we will inform you of the correct price as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If you cancel no payment will be taken; or if payment has already been taken, it will be refunded.
On occasions we will issue promotional codes. When viewing the ‘cart’ there is a field where a coupon code can be entered. Codes should be entered with care as they are case sensitive and only one code can be used against each purchase, so choose the code that best matches the products in your basket. Once the purchase has been completed the code entered can not be changed.
Return of goods
Of course we want you to be happy with all the products you purchase at GreenerBeauty.com. However, if you are not let us work with you to make it right.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulation applicable from 2014, you are entitled to notify us of your intent to return unused and unopened products within 14 days of receipt. Goods must be returned within 28 days from receipt. The consumer is responsible for return costs.
Should you want a refund please contact us at CustomerCare@GreenerBeauty.com informing us which product you would like to return from which order no with your personal details and why you would like to return the item. Whether you no longer want the item (and it is in its original untampered packaging and can be resold) or it has been damaged in transit we will provide you with details on where to return the purchased item. On receipt of the returned item we will process a refund for the full purchase price of the item to the original method of payment within 3 to 5 working days.
Alternatively, we can provide an exchange either:
- To the same value.
- To a greater value where the balance is due for payment.
- To a lesser value where the difference can either be refunded or used towards another product.
Please not that if you are not careful with the condition of the product that is being returned a refund could be declined by Greener Beauty.
At Greener Beauty we are committed to suppling products in the best possible condition in the quickest possible delivery time; exceeding expectations every time. If you do not feel that we have achieved this, please contact us at CustomerCare@GreenerBeauty.com
3rd party returns policy
If you return an item due to a mistake and want to exchange it for another item, you will be charged £5.00 for the extra delivery costs. We are very confident that you will be delighted with your purchase, but we also realise that purchasing fragrance from a website, without having tried it first, can be quite a gamble. Therefore, if your purchase arrives and it’s not quite what you were looking for, you can return any item for a full refund or exchange within 14 days. Simply email us at CustomerCare@GreenerBeauty.com with ‘Eden: I’ve changed my mind’ in the subject line. Please include your order number in the email. Once you have emailed us, send back the item to the address below within 14 days of having received your order. The cost of returning the product to us will not be refunded. Please mark your order number clearly on the back of the package that you send back to us.
All Eden Perfumes products go through a rigorous quality checking process as part of the service we offer to you. Therefore, it’s very unlikely you will receive faulty goods from us, but in the unlikely event that this happens we will be happy to refund or exchange the product as you see fit, once the fault has been verified. The cost of returning the product by Royal Mail second class recorded delivery will be refunded. Simply contact us as soon as you notice the fault using our contact form with ‘Eden: Faulty’ in the subject line and include details about the fault. Please include your order number in the email. Once you have emailed us, we will send you details of where to send the package. Please mark your order number clearly on the back of the package that you are sending back.
Once your item has been returned and we find everything is as expected (whether the item is faulty or sent back to us as part of the 14 Day Money Back Guarantee) we will credit the full purchase price back to the card you used to make the purchase. If the item is faulty, we will also credit the cost of returning the product to us by Royal Mail second class recorded delivery.
In the unlikely event that we supply goods that are faulty, we will exchange them or refund your payment. Please contact us as soon as possible to report receipt of faulty goods at CustomerCare@GreenerBeauty.com
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulation applicable from 2014, you are entitled to notify us of your intent to return unused and unopened products within 14 days of receipt. When returning an item(s), all parts, pieces, barcode labels and tags must be in their original unopened packaging, in order to be eligible for a refund. Cosmetics are exempt from right to return if opened or sampled, due to the perishable and hygienic nature of the goods. If unsure whether you would like to keep the goods, please do not open and sample as this invalidates your right to refund. We strongly recommend that returns are sent by Recorded Delivery or some other means of tracked delivery system.
Once we receive the goods in saleable condition, a full refund for the cost and shipping of goods will be made to your credit/debit card. Customers are responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us.
Listings – Terms and Conditions
By claiming a listing you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.
As a salon owner who has claimed a listing you have permissions to be able to edit your listing and change the details including the photos and the header image as you see fit. However, the listing remains the property of Greener Beauty Ltd. If at any point you, the salon owner, would like your listing removed from GreenerBeauty.com please contact Sales@GreenerBeauty.com providing full details.
When uploading photos or editing your listing you retain the copyright and other ownership rights in any User Materials that you submit on or through the Site. However, by submitting User Materials on or through the Site, you are agreeing that the information and images submitted may be used by Greener Beauty and may be published on our websites and/or in all other mediums without further consent or notice to you. You further grant Greener Beauty Ltd, GreenerBeauty.com, and their licensees the right to contact you in connection with your User Materials and to use your name, city and city and other information that you have provided in connection with the User Materials.
You agree not to claim any listings that are not owned by you and to only post factually correct information on your listing.
Reviews can be left for salons by members of the Greener Beauty community. These reviews cannot and will not be anyway amended or changed to suit the listing.
Greener Beauty reserves the right to remove any users and/or listings when they see fit. This can include reasons such as abusive behaviour, advertising offers on the salon pages, posting incorrect information but is not restricted to these reasons.
Entries submitted for posting are selected entirely at the discretion of Greener Beauty. You acknowledge and agree that Greener Beauty shall have no obligation to post, display or otherwise make publicly available any photo, information, or other content submitted by you, and may, in its sole discretion, remove, edit, modify or delete any photo, information, or other content that you submit to the Site.
If you have a special offer that you would like to run on Greener Beauty we can work with you to target the correct audience of this offer. However, no offers can ever be posted on your listing page. You understand and agree that sending unsolicited email advertisements or posting unsolicited advertisements in the comments or through the Site’s computer systems in any way is expressly prohibited by these terms. Any unauthorized use of GreenerBeauty.com computer systems is a violation of these Terms. Such violations may subject the sender and his or her agents to civil and criminal penalties.
If your salon stops having vegan friendly options, it will be removed from GreenerBeauty.com.
You agree that in no event shall Greener Beauty be liable under contract, strict liability, negligence or any other legal theory (i) with respect to the Site, the services available on the Site or any content available on the Site for any lost profits or special, indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential damages of any kind whatsoever.
These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire and exclusive understanding and agreement between Greener Beauty and you regarding the Site and these Terms and Conditions supersede and replace any and all prior oral or written understandings or agreements between Greener Beauty and you.
We reserve the right to be able to amend these terms and conditions from time to time. If we these are amended notification will be given and if you disagree with any of the revised terms or conditions, we advise you to cease using GreenerBeauty.com.
