As a vegan run business, we strongly believe that by only selling products that are vegan, cruelty free and natural this is where we can minimise our impact on the beautiful world we live on the most. These are the core back bone of Greener Beauty and this will never change.

While we are not a plastic free business we do recognise that plastic is having a negative impact on the world we live on. So we are committed to the following:

• As of January 2020 we made a decision to only bring onboard new brands that are plastic free.
• The only exception to this would be if a range of products was not only exceptional but game changing. As of March 2024 no new brands have met this standard.
• Any brands that package products in plastic must ensure that the packaging is easily and fully recyclable in the UK.

Greener Beauty is committed to working towards our goal of becoming a carbon neutral business.

We commit to planting trees to negate the carbon footprint of sending orders and the day to day running of the business. You can read more about our commitment to trees by clicking on Our Tree Story from the About Us Menu.

We also are committed to hosting our website(s) on a green hosting platform.

Greener Beauty commits to only retail sunscreens that are reef safe and will not cause harm to marine life.

Greener Beauty commits to only using fully recyclable or compostable packaging for when sending out any orders. This includes any tape used to seal the box.

Any flyers included in the packaging will be produced on recycled paper using only vegan inks.

Delivery notes are not included to reduce the paper wastage.

Greener Beauty is committed to:

• Minimise our use of paper and other office consumables, for example by double-siding all paper used, and identifying opportunities to reduce waste.
• As far as possible arrange for the reuse or recycling of office waste, including paper, computer supplies and redundant equipment.
• Reduce the energy consumption of office equipment by purchasing energy efficient equipment and good housekeeping.

Greener Beauty is committed to have as many meetings using an online provider to minimise travelling where possible.

At Greener Beauty, our commitment to minimising our impact on the planet has been at the core of our mission since day one. To achieve this, we have implemented various initiatives, one of which is our tree planting program that we initiated in October 2019.

Here’s how we’re making a difference:

1. Every time an order is placed online, we plant a tree. By doing so, we not only offset the carbon emissions associated with the purchase but also contribute to reforestation efforts.

2. As part of our dedication to sustainability, we plant 15 trees per month for each employee at Greener Beauty. This practice ensures that the carbon footprint generated by each staff member is effectively neutralised, further enhancing our commitment to a greener future.

3. Additionally, we plant 50 trees per month specifically to offset the carbon footprint caused by our website and the server it operates on. This proactive step demonstrates our determination to create a positive environmental impact at every level of our business operations.

Our team continuously strives to ensure that Greener Beauty maintains a solely positive influence on the environment. By implementing these tree planting initiatives, we are actively contributing to the restoration and preservation of our planet’s natural resources.
