Eucalyptus: Extracted from gargantuan Australian trees spanning skywards for up to 100 meters. Eucalyptus essential oil is used in a plethora of modern treatments, for everything from a common cold to reviving tired muscles. Eucalyptus proved a valuable traditional remedy to the native people of Australia who soaked the leaves in boiling water to release a powerful vapour that helps clear chest conditions and coughs. Used in massage Eucalyptus can boost the circulation and warm cold hands and feet. The perfect remedy for the stresses and strains of the colder seasons.

Grapefruit: A tangy, refreshing and juicy. Expressed from the peel of the fruit is warmly comforting, brightening and rejuvenating for mind and body, great for the skin as well as the soul. Mood boosting, particularly when hormonal. Astringent qualities are great for congested skin. De-toxifying for the body.

Lemon: Is one of those lovely citrus fragrances that lifts a dark mood and reminds you of summer. All citrus fruits originate in China, but lemons are now grown throughout Southern Europe, North West America and the Middle East. The average Lemon tree if grown in a warm enough climate, will continually produce fruit all year which is good as it takes 1,000 whole lemons to yield just 650g of essential oil. In the practice of aromatherapy, Lemon is used to uplift feelings of depression, low spirits and anxiety. When applied in a massage blend, this stimulating oil will also help to detox the lymphatic system and improve circulation.

Orange: A sweet, sunny and refreshing. Expressed from the peel of the fruit this essential oil is uplifting and comforting for the mind, gently brightening the mood and easing feelings of anxiety, while it can also help detoxify the body. Uplifts the mood. Eases anxiety. Can soothe digestive discomfort.

Tea Tree: Is fresh, sharp and cleansing. Steam distilled from the green leaves of the tree has proven its efficacy as a powerful anti-microbial, great for naturally deep cleansing everything from congested skin to surfaces around the home.

Spring Cleaning Top Tips: 

Keep floors sparkling clean and germ-free by adding 15 drops of Eucalyptus essential oil to a bucket of hot water and get mopping.

For an affective bin fragrance refresher, remove the bin bag and sprinkle two drops of Eucalyptus oil in the bottom of the bin. Once it’s dry, replace the bag and let this odour-eater get to work! Use 1 drop of Eucalyptus and 1 drop of Lemon to soften the aroma if you find Eucalyptus a little harsh on its own.

For a great all-purpose spray, add 10 drops of our Tea Tree essential oil to 250mls of white vinegar and 250mls water in a spray bottle. Apply to kitchen countertops, bathroom sinks or tiled floors.

Shine up your wooden furniture with Orange essential oil and enjoy the zesty scent that freshens up the entire room. Add 10 drops of Orange essential oil to 100ml of blending oil, such as Sweet Almond Oil, stir them together, dip a polishing cloth in and wipe over the furniture. Using a separate soft cloth, buff it up and see it shine.

Remove unwanted aromas in the air and give rooms a sunny, happy and lively vibe with a blend of citrus oils. Simply add 20 drops of your chosen essential oils to 1 tablespoon of baking soda in a small bowl and mix thoroughly. Add the mixture to a 100 ml spray bottle and top up with tepid water. Shake bottle thoroughly before each use and spritz into the air.
