These are perfect for pushing back your cuticles before you paint your nails. By pushing back your cuticles it will make your nails look longer and more elegant.

The double ended design features a hoof stick and sharp tip allowing for varied use.

These wood sticks are perfect for cuticle care and maintenance. These can be used as follows:

Remove any nail polish using an acetone free nail polish (all our nail polishes are acetone free and can be found here).

Soak your fingertips in warm, soapy water for a few minutes. Ideally use a gentle hand wash in a bowel mixed with warm water. Do this for at least 5 minutes but ideally 15 minutes. This warm water will help to soften your cuticles so you’ll be able to push back your cuticles more easily. Dry your hands well once they have been soaking for long enough.

Alternatively to a soak, you can use a cuticle oil. Drop some on each cuticle, leave it for a few minutes before rubbing it in well in a circular motion.

You are now ready to push back your cuticles. If you have especially sensitive skin, wrap the tip of the orange stick in cotton wool before you use it. You can pull apart a cotton ball or use cotton gauze if you have some on hand. To push back your cuticles you will get the best result if you rest your hand on a flat surface. Use the stick to gently push back the skin along the bottom of your nail. Using a wet sponge or cloth rub your cuticles to remove any excess skin. 

Apply a hand or cuticle cream and continue with painting your nails.
