Advent Calendar 2021

It is finally here, the Greener Beauty Advent Calendar 2021. Last years advent calendar sold out in under 2 weeks and we had many amazing reviews and feedback and have taken all of it onboard when designing this years advent calendar. See below to read some of the fabulous feedback we got!

As you can see from the picture we have gone down a more traditional route in that we have an advent calendar box with doors that you locate and open. We were inspired by gifts wrapped in brown paper and you can really see this in the design. The box is also made in the UK from 75% recycled cardboard and 25% sustainable sources. See the packaging tab for more information on the packaging.

Everything within the advent calendar is of course vegan and cruelty free (we wouldn’t go against our ethics!). Everything is plastic free and packaged in a combination of glass, aluminium and cardboard. We have some new and exclusive products to us and some of our tried and tested favourites. We don’t want to reveal too much about the contents as we would prefer for each day to be a surprise for you as you open it. But we can tell you that it contains:

9 days of skincare

5 days of body care

4 days of shower and bath products

2 days of hair care

1 day of nail polish

1 day of perfume

1 day of essential oil (which will come in very hand in December!)

Out of these products 22 are from companies in the UK and 2 are from European brands. A lot of the products are palm oil free but a few do contain palm oil from sustainable sources.

In total there are 26 items behind the doors. 24 of which are full size.

We have made this years advent calendar as unisex as possible with only one item of nail polish that is less unisex, if you would like an alternative please get in contact.

The value of the products in this years advent calendar is over £260 and with the vouchers over £350.

TREES – Of course it wouldn’t be a Greener Beauty advent calendar without some trees being planted. This year we are planting 10 for each advent calendar sold.

VOUCHERS – Last year we included vouchers from some of our favourite vegan businesses. We will be including these again this year. What businesses these are will be a surprise!

NO DISCOUNTS – We have priced our advent calendar as best as we can for everyone so I am sorry to say that we wont be able to offer any discounts.

PLEASE NOTE – Please do not order anything at the same time as this advent calendar. The shipping box does not have space for anything else being sent. So please order any other items in a separate order. If anything else is ordered at the same time we will just refund the additional items.

DELIVERY – Advent Calendars will be dispatched in November. When yours is dispatched you will receive tracking details via email.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS – UK Shipping is included in the price of this advent. If you are based outside of the UK there is unfortunately an additional cost for postage. This is £35 for Europe, £75 for Israel and £85 for Australia.

We have designed our advent calendar to be as zero waste as possible and have thought of every element to be as environmentally friendly as possible.

When you think of an eco friendly gift wrap you think of a gift beautifully wrapped with brown paper. We have used this as inspiration for our advent calendar design this year.

The advent calendar and shipping box are being produced by the same company. Both boxes comprise of 75% recycled cardboard and the remaining 25% is from sustainable sources. Even better than this they get the recycled components from a recycling plant just a few miles up the road. I love the thought that some of that recycled card could have come from a previous Greener Beauty order or from your home recycling.

This is then printed directly on using a plant based ink.

Some advent calendars have a plastic like film on top of the print making them less recyclable but water resistant. As we do not have this if you would like to recycle the advent calendar it is 100% recyclable. But this does also mean that it is not water proof so please keep away from water!

Everything in the advent calendar this year is plastic free. We have some innovative plastic free products and some exclusives just for this years calendar. To ensure everything’s safe arrival with you we have used white tissue paper within the advent calendar to wrap the glass and protect it from breakages. This white paper is made from sustainable sources and is acid and chlorine free.
