Astrid Biodegradable Glitter

EcoStarDust Astrid Biodegradable Glitter is a mix of deep blue with brighter blue and sparkly gold, make this the perfect dreamy blue blend. Named after Astrid which is of Norse origin, meaning ‘divinely beautiful’, which this blend certainly is.

A mix of Ultra Chunky Blue, Super Chunky Blue Lagoon, Chunky Silver and Gold.

Biodegradable glitter is safe for you and for the environment. It biodegrades so is great for sparkly festival goers, mermaids swimming in the sea or unicorns riding rainbows!

Apply a small amount of clear lip-balm or cosmetic adhesive to the desired area and then apply the glitter on top with either your finger or a makeup brush.

Then using your finger or a clean makeup brush, dab the glitter on top and then you’re ready to sparkle.

To remove, simply was away with warm water and soap, or use your normal makeup remover.

Tips

Face: Apply EcoStardust balm or your chosen cosmetic balm (un-petroleum jelly, lip balm, moisturisers or Aloe Vera gel all work) to the desired are and apply the glitter on top as per the instructions above.

Body: Same steps as face, however you may want to use a larger brush to cover a bigger area.

Hair: Apply hair gel to the desired area (along your roots is a great place) and then apply the glitter on top. Just shampoo your hair to remove it.

Safety Information: 

Do not apply to broken, damaged or inflamed skin

Not recommended for use around the eyes

If product gets in to eyes, rinse eyes immediately with water. If problems persist then seek medical attention.

Although EcoStarDust glitter is free from the 14 most common allergens, including gluten, it is recommend that  you perform a patch test before use.

Comes in a 6g aluminium Tin with a PET plastic (the easiest and most commonly recycled plastic) window and packaged in a recycled card box.

All of the EcoStarDust glitter is biodegradable and made predominantly from a plant cellulose instead of PET plastic. The main ingredient is Eucalyptus Trees from sustainably farmed non-GMO plantations.

How is it made?

The plant cellulose is dyed with cosmetic grade dyes and then covered with the tiniest amount of aluminium in order to give it it’s shine. The cellulose is then fed through a glitter cutting machine and cut to the desired size and shape. We currently offer six different sizes all in Hexagonal shape.
