AT GREENER BEAUTY WE ARE REALLY PASSIONATE ABOUT USING GREENER BEAUTY TO SUPPORT THE CHARITIES THAT WE LOVE AND FEEL PASSIONATE ABOUT. WE DONATE 10% OF OUR PROFITS ACROSS THESE CHARITIES AND YOU CAN EVEN SUPPORT THEM BY ADDING A DONATION TO ONE OR ALL OF THE CHARITIES AT CHECKOUT.

THESE ARE THE CHARITIES THAT WE ARE CURRENTLY SUPPORTING:

HUGLETTS WOOD FARM SANCTUARY

Hugletts Wood Farm sanctuary is a vegan animal sanctuary based in Heathfield, East Sussex. Run by the lovely Wenda and Matt. They provide sanctuary to cows and their friends. A home for life to farm animals and birds, rescued from the misery of the meat and dairy industry and the horrors of the slaughterhouse.

Hugletts try to self-fund as much as possible, growing vegetables and fruits and producing a whole range of woodland products and natural Ahimsa compost but always welcome support in whatever form it may take!

ANIMAL JUSTICE PROJECT

Animal Justice Project is a non-parofit organisation founded in 2014 dedicated to ending animal experiments and promoting veganism. They are working to create a society where all animals are treated equally, with compassion and respect. They are the UK’s only animal rights organisation that focuses predominantly on ending animal experiments that are conducted on university campuses. Almost half of all animal experiments are carried out by universities.

By bringing to light the realities of vivisection and farming industries through advocacy, education, outreach, and research – they aim to create a more just and peaceful world for all.

BREAST CANCER UK

One in seven women will get breast cancer at some point in their life. However, studies suggest if you make changes to your lifestyle your risk of getting breast cancer could be significantly reduced. Breast Cancer UK has analysed the latest findings on breast cancer and its prevention, to provide guidance on how to reduce your risk of developing the disease.

The mission of Breast Cancer UK is to prevent breast cancer through education, scientific research, collaboration and policy change.

54,000 women a year in the UK are diagnosed with breast cancer and a quarter of these cases are preventable through lifestyle changes. That means over 13,000 cases of breast cancer could be prevented, saving millions of lives, avoiding unnecessary suffering and reducing the cost to NHS by approximately £1.5 billion a year.

den Reforestation Projects

Eden Reforestation Projects mission is to provide fair wage employment to impoverished villagers as agents of global forest restoration. They hire locals to grow, plant, and guard to maturity native species forest on a massive scale. Their ’employ to plant methodology’ results in a multiplication of positive socio-economic and environment measures. By keeping their overhead costs low, they are now recognised as one of the most cost-effective reforestation projects on the planet.

SEA SHEPHERD UK

Sea Shepherd is a marine conservation charity that runs many direct action campaigns all over the world to protect marine life. Whether its protecting seals from being shot at salmon farms in Scotland, removing fish nets from the oceans, saving dolphins and whales from being slaughtered in the Faroes, the list is long! They protect all marine life from the smallest plankton and krill up to the largest whales. And they are successful in doing so! Sea Shepherd is a volunteer lead movement so all money raised actually funds campaigns and not in some fat cats pocket.

STEPHEN LAWRENCE CHARITABLE TRUST

The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust aims to create a fairer society for all through career, community, and social initiatives for young people aged 13-30 in the UK. The organisation honours Black British teenager Stephen Lawrence who was murdered in a racist attack in 1993.

Too many young people still struggle to succeed because they are disadvantaged by factors beyond their control, such as where they are born, the school they go to, or any discrimination they may face. At the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust, they don’t accept that your background should limit what you can achieve. They work with young people from disadvantaged backgrounds aged 13 to 30 to broaden their view of what’s possible. They help them to gain the knowledge, skills, and qualifications they need to pursue the career of their choice, and then support them to progress through the early stages of their career.
