Greener Beauty and Charities
At Greener Beauty we are really passionate about using Greener Beauty to support the charities that we love and feel passionate about. We donate 10% of our profits across these charities and you can even support them by adding a donation to one or all of the charities at checkout.
These are the charities that we are currently supporting:
Hugletts Wood farm Sanctuary
Hugletts Wood Farm sanctuary is a vegan animal sanctuary based in Heathfield, East Sussex. Run by the lovely Wenda and Matt. They provide sanctuary to cows and their friends. A home for life to farm animals and birds, rescued from the misery of the meat and dairy industry and the horrors of the slaughterhouse.
Hugletts try to self-fund as much as possible, growing vegetables and fruits and producing a whole range of woodland products and natural Ahimsa compost but always welcome support in whatever form it may take!

To me Hugletts feels like a really special place. I sponsor Yogi the sheep and Judha the cow at Hugletts. It is a place where the animals truly come first. Not a petting zoo or farm where people can just visit the animals, there are a limited number of open days a year and they have a strict number of tickets available. If you have ever been I am sure you will agree that it is a truly magical place. This is the reason why we always have a Hugletts donation pot at every event we do and why they are top of our list of charities.
Sea Shepherd UK
>Sea Shepherd is a marine conservation charity that runs many direct action campaigns all over the world to protect marine life. Whether its protecting seals from being shot at salmon farms in Scotland, removing fish nets from the oceans, saving dolphins and whales from being slaughtered in the Faroes, the list is long! They protect all marine life from the smallest plankton and krill up to the largest whales. And they are successful in doing so! Sea Shepherd is a volunteer lead movement so all money raised actually funds campaigns and not in some fat cats pocket.

I have been a senior volunteer for Sea Shepherd UK since 2014. I have taken part in 3 campaigns to save marine life; as a Cove Guardian in Taiji Japan, the Grindstop campaign in the Faroe islands and the Seal Defence campaign in Scotland. As a scuba diver and self confessed mermaid I have a deep love for the ocean. I have seen first hand the devastation that fishing and exploitation of the oceans is causing. Sea Shepherd are a very effective direct action marine conservation charity and it was only right that they should be featured as one of the Greener Beauty charities.
Animal Justice Project
Animal Justice Project is a non-profit organisation founded in 2014 dedicated to ending animal experiments and promoting veganism. They are working to create a society where all animals are treated equally, with compassion and respect. They are the UK’s only animal rights organisation that focuses predominantly on ending animal experiments that are conducted on university campuses. Almost half of all animal experiments are carried out by universities.
By bringing to light the realities of vivisection and farming industries through advocacy, education, outreach, and research – they aim to create a more just and peaceful world for all.
Further information about the Animal Justice Project can be found here https://animaljusticeproject.com/
I am so excited to be able to support the Animal Justice Project. When you buy products from Greener Beauty you are saving animals by not buying products that are either tested on them or contain animal ingredients. With a donation to Animal Justice at checkout you are also helping the animals that are currently in labs being tested on. Its next level vegan beauty!
If you haven’t heard of Veganuary where have you been living? A UK based charity that launched in 2014 that encourages people worldwide to try vegan for January and beyond. Their reach has been amazing with a quarter of a million people taking part in 2019. They provide daily emails, recipes and support for anyone trying a vegan diet.

Breast Cancer UK
One in seven women will get breast cancer at some point in their life. However, studies suggest if you make changes to your lifestyle your risk of getting breast cancer could be significantly reduced. Breast Cancer UK has analysed the latest findings on breast cancer and its prevention, to provide guidance on how to reduce your risk of developing the disease. The information we disseminate is based on evidence drawn from credible sources of research, and produced according to strict quality controlled guidelines.
They promote using clean products which aligns with our beliefs here at Greener Beauty and this is one of the reasons they are one of our chosen charities.
