Greener Beauty Products of the Week!

This is my favourite body scrub. The salt is really fine and the base of coconut oil and shea butter with essential oils of pink grapefruit, lemongrass and peppermint give a really smooth finish while being deeply nourishing. And of course with that blend of essential oils it smells incredible! Another benefit for me is that it can be used not only on the body but is gentle enough to be used on the face too. I love a product that can be used for both as it saves time!

If I could only use one product to get holiday ready this would be it without question!

And its not just me that rates this scrub so highly, it is multi Award Winning:

WINNER: Natural Health Beauty Awards 2018

WINNER: Best Global Organic Beauty Brand

HIGHLY COMMENDED: The Natural Health International Beauty Awards 2016.

WINNER: ‘Bath Time Treats’ at the Janey Loves Platinum Awards 2016.

And after all that is also suitable for all skin types.

It can be so hard to find vegan and environmentally friendly floss picks. Here at Greener Beauty we have the answer! Floss picks by the Humble Company are made from Corn starch and are in an environmentally friendly paper bag.

Another great thing about these floss picks is the price, £3.50 for a bag of 50 picks. I am sure you will agree that this is a very pocket friendly price for such an eco product!

I have been testing to find a range of bath bombs to sell all year and while I tested a few that were okay I wasn’t sold until I tried the range from Unique Creations.

This product of the week is one of my favourite bath bombs by this company. They take about 15 minutes to fully dissolve and give a fantastic show while they do so! The top of the cloud and the sleeping unicorn is white but once they hit the water there is a rainbow of colours that comes out from the bottom of the bath bomb. It really is a fantastic show, definitely don’t drop into the bath and walk away!

In addition to these bath bombs giving a fantastic rainbow in the bath it can be very hard to find bath bombs that do not contain Sodium Laurel Sulphate (SLS) which is an endocrine disruptor and can cause allergies. Of course here at Greener Beauty we do not sell any products containing this synthetic ingredient, so these bath bombs do not contain SLS! Yay!

Knowing all this you might think that these bath bombs are expensive, but they are not! Just £2.99 each. Great value for the fantastic colour show!

For me the best thing about winter is the ability to snuggle down with a fragranced candle burning in the warm while its cold outside. The candle scent gently wafting throughout the house.

And one of the best things about Xmas for me has to be the smells; ginger, cinnamon, frankincense and of course orange!

This candle literally smells like a traditional Christmas. A soy wax base with essential oils of frankincense, orange and cinnamon. It really is just like a Christmas hug.

Available in 2 sizes; 20 hours and 40 hours.

Greener Beauty Brands in the Spotlight!

Ethically Organic is a British made range of products. They have the ethos of making a skincare and body care range that is organic, cruelty free and clean.

All the ingredients are sourced ethically using sustainable and fair-trade suppliers. All the products are 99% organic and 100% natural.

Each item in the range is anhydrous which gives high undiluted concentration skincare products that are packed full of vitamins and omegas.

The range consists of 3 face soufflé (anti-ageing, radiance glow & unscented), 3 face oils (anti-ageing, radiance glow & unscented) and 3 body soufflé (floral, French lavender & unscented).

When we were testing this range we all fell in love with the soufflé’s which feel so luxurious and super nourishing to use. The face oils absorbed really quickly without leave an oily film on the skin. And using the body soufflé is like being in a spa at home. We love this range of effective and reasonably priced products. They last a long time too! I started using the Radiance glow face soufflé in May and I am still working my way through a jar!

As a bonus they are also plastic free, the jars are made 100% from glass while the oils use a rubber dropper.

Dr. Bronner’s was founded in 1948 by Emanuel Bronner, a third- generation master soap maker from a German-Jewish soap making family. He used the labels on his ecological soaps to spread his message that we must realise our unity across religious & ethnic divides or perish: “We are All-One or None!” Still family-owned and run, Dr. Bronner’s honours its founder’s vision by continuing to make socially & environmentally responsible products of the highest quality, and by dedicating their profits to help make a better world. All-One!

The whole range of products are made using organic and Fairtrade ingredients and each product has multiple uses, not just as a hand soap!

One of the many things I love about Dr Bronners is that they use solar panels to heat the factory and office and are on their way to becoming a zero waste business.

They are huge supporters of lots of charities. I first heard of Dr Bronners because of the huge support they give to Sea Shepherd frequently donating products to the operating of the ships on their campaigns across the seas.

Who wouldn’t want to support a company that has ethics and compassion at its heart!
