TELL US ABOUT HOW YOU STARTED ETHICALLY ORGANIC?

Brad and I had become more health conscious throughout the years and were shocked to see what potentially toxic ingredients were in the brands, we had used daily for years. This is where Ethically Organic began – we extensively researched what is kind for our skin and wellbeing. Quickly our focus changed and our desire was to build a brand of skin kind products that have no adverse effects and support our healthy lifestyles, whilst embracing incredible skincare.

Our enthusiasm to make a change led us to begin formulating in the kitchen alongside completing a Diploma in natural and organic skincare. This is where Ethically Organic was born! Brad’s niece also suffers from terrible eczema and was in daily discomfort, only one cream seemed to work on her, but the ingredient list was worrying.  We were determined to make a natural, organic, toxic free alternative and so our “Pure Unscented’ range was created. The cream instantly reduced the inflammation, redness and itchiness and has been a daily staple.

WHAT MAKES ETHICALLY ORGANIC SO UNIQUE?

We are an anhydrous skincare brand, simply put, anhydrous is a substance that contains no water. When it comes to beauty, anhydrous products are those that are water-free.  When you remove the water, you can produce more highly concentrated formulas, which means lighter applications of a product with the same amount of oomph. In other words, a little goes a long way. What’s more, this smaller footprint requires less packaging and reduces transportation costs.

WHAT DOES AN AVERAGE DAY RUNNING ETHICALLY ORGANIC LOOK LIKE?

Our day starts with an inspiration positive quote and self-empowerment each and every morning!

In everything that we do we want to ensure that we have fun along the way, laughter really is the best medicine! No day is ever the same as the previous day, our days consist of, formulating, everything is made by hand in our studio in West London, we love meeting our clients (when we can) and then the daily task of reducing the mailbox which is ever growing!!
